Бадминтон — одиночный и командный вид спорта, в котором игроки располагаются на противоположных сторонах игровой площадки разделенной сеткой.
Бадминтон входит в программу летних Олимпийских игр с 1992 г.
Цель игры в бадминтон:
заключается в перекидывании волана через сетку ударами ракеток, стремясь приземлить волан на стороне соперника и не допустить падение волана на собственном поле.

для одиночной игры 13,4 на 5,18 метров.
для парной игры 13,4 на 6,10 метров.

1550 мм у опор и 1524 мм по центру (провисание).
